Q: What are the system requirements to run Protect My Ads?

A: We have two different versions of Protect My Ads! A PHP/mySQL version and a CGI/SSI version.

To run the PHP/mySQL version your server must support PHP 4.3 or higher and mySQL 3.23 or higher. Protect My Ads! has been fully tested under Apache but should run properly using any server as long as it supports PHP and mySQL.

To run the CGI/SSI version your server must support Perl 5.0 or higher, SSI (Server Side Includes) and be running Apache 1.3 or higher.

Q: Why are you selling Protect My Ads! at such a low price?

A: We know what it is like to be robbed of income by scumware ad blocking software. We originally created Protect My Ads! for our own use. We made a decision to make Protect My Ads! available to other webmasters at a very affordable price to help stop the abuse of ad blocker scumware software.

Q: Is Protect My Ads! hard to install?

A: Not at all. It is very easy to install and configure. We provide you with step by step instructions covering installation, configuration and use.

Q: Does the surfer need to download or install anything?

A: No! Protect My Ads! runs 100% on your server. The only difference the surfer sees is that his ad blocking software is NOT blocking your ads.

Q: What happens if an ad blocker changes their blocking criteria?

A: All you need to do is change the program defaults and you are back in business. Protect My Ads! then modifies all the affiliate links on all the sites you have a license to use Protect My Ads! on.

Q: Currently I do not use PHP so I would want to use the CGI version of Protect My Ads! If I decide to use the PHP version at a later date will I need to purchase Protect My Ads! again?

A: No. When you purchase Protect My Ads! You get both the PHP and CGI versions.
